Shirley Jones Announces First Ever UK Concerts

Legendary Hollywood and Broadway leading lady Shirley Jones makes her UK debut at the Arts Theatre for 12 performances only.

Shirley Jones was virtually unknown when Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein cast her as Laurie in the 1955 movie version of their hit stage musical Oklahoma! which bought her world wide fame. She followed this up with the films of The Music Man and Carousel and won the 1960 Academy Award for Elmer Ganty. She was the matriarch of The Partridge Family and has appeared on Broadway in South Pacific, Maggie Flynn and 42nd Street

Called "the first lady of American song" by Bob Hope, Shirley Jones in concert promises to be a very special event and marks the first time this living legend has ever performed in the UK.
