The Partridge Family on Video!

The Partridge Family was made available on VHS videotape on two separate occasions.
 
Columbia Tri-Star released four video tapes of THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, each containing three episodes.

Tape 1, titled "C'mon Get Happy!" contains the pilot episode ("What? And Get Out of Show Business?"), "Old Scrapmouth" (Laurie gets braces that picks up the local radio station, guest-starring Mark Hamill), and "Anchors Aweigh" (the last episode of the series, and guest-starring George Chakiris as "Captain Cuddles").

Tape 2, titled "Caution: Nervous Mother Driving", contains "Knight in Shining Armor" (the pilot for the Bobby Sherman spin-off "Getting Together"), "But the Memory Lingers On" (the famous skunk episode which features "I Think I Love You" as well as the PF taking baths in tomato juice), and "The Eleven Year Itch" (featuring Jodie Foster as the girlfriend with the great right hook).

Tape 3 (titled "6 Partridges and 3 Angels") contains the episodes that guest-star three actresses that went on to become Charlie's Angels: “The Sound Of Money,” (Farrah Fawcett) “When Mother Gets Married,”(Jaclyn Smith) and “Double Trouble” (Cheryl Ladd).

Tape 4 (titled "Stars in Our Eyes") contains episodes featuring famous guest stars: “Soul Club,” (Richard Pryor, Louis Gossett Jr) “A Man Called Snake,” (Rob Reiner) and “I Left My Heart In Cincinnati” (Mary Ann Mobley, Johnny Bench).

The tapes retail for $9.99 each and are about 75 minutes long (3 episodes per tape). If you can't find them in your local video store, we suggest using Amazon.Com.

 

THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY was also made available from Columbia House Video Club's "Re-TV Club". Ten volumes were produced, each containing 4 episodes.
