Sorry, I'm really picky about condition.
Saw one on ebay not too long ago (in excellent shape).
If you're gonna pay that much, might as well gety it in good condition.

Wow! I never remember seeing one of those before! I would have loved that back in the day! Did they have those in stores or did you have to order it from a teen magazine? Anyone have one?

Sad part is, back in the day, they were probably $20! If I had known they were out back then, I would have been saving my paper route money for that! Laughing

Wow....that was really cool. Had never seen one of those before. Congrats to the winner. You know what I would pay that kind of money for? An original bass drum head with the PF logo on it. By the way....how much did those cabinets sell for way back when?

If i had known (and had the money!) I would have been straight in there with a bid! But judging by the picture it had seen better days. And as Darryl said earlier, if you pay that much you may as well get it in a good condition. Its all a question of bieng patient and waiting for that ideal purchase to fall into your lap Very Happy

Exactly! One thing ebay has taught me is
most items will come up for sale again. Wink

The record cabinet is by far the rarest collectible. I have never seen it sell for less than $1000 - $1500. The fact that the stickers aren't in the best condition is minimal compared to how rare it is. Otherwise, the cabinet is in excellent condition.

Another rare item is the Remco toy bus. That just sold (complete with box and all the people/instruments) for close to $1000. Some people don't realize it, but that was sold two different ways: with black wheels and with blue wheels. There were slight changes to the box design as well (which doubled as the PF garage). We'll have photos of all this stuff once we finish the revamped collectibles section on the website. :D

:::sigh::: I need Twenty Four Hours A Day . . . . Laughing Laughing

My sister has one and she would never part with it. Our parents gave it to her for her birthday all those years ago and she has held on to it.

I have the Partridge Family game in near mint condition that was a gift for my 5th birthday and I still have it too.

It was soo cool to have groovy parents who understood what we were all about. Very Happy
