Laughing I know this topic is being and has been discussed on this forum but
I wanted to know what is your all time favorite episode of the PF.

I loved the episode where Laurie gets braces!! I also had to get them about the same time as the episode aired. Like Lauire I was afraid to
speak not to mention let anyone see me with them! I had to get the
metal ones-my mouth looked like Grand Central Station!! A few years
later my younger sister had to get them also and she had the clear ones!

Now, I see them in all different colors!! WOW, what a BIG DIFFERENCE!!

Also, there was a boy in my Biology class who said that when I got my braces off, he would kiss me!! Well, I finally did get them off after 2
long years and would you believe this HE NEVER DID KISS ME!!

Good thing too, as I was saving my kisses for DC!!! And of course, that
never happened of course!! Just remember this, younger members of this board "YOU HAVE TO KISS A LOT OF FROGS, BEFORE YOU MEET
PRINCE CHARMING!"

Have fun with posting everyone!

Pat

I'd have to say one of my faves of the entire series is...
Trial Of Partridge One
PF does Drama. You could feel the bond, like they were a real family.

My favorite episode is 43. When Danny writes the article about the family. That episode is so funny I laugh everytime I see it.

Mine was I LEFT MY HEART IN CINCINATTI, only cause I was there the first day of filming (see post elsewhere). Runner Up would be the one when Danny sells Keiths stuff to buy Shirley a Mink.

Yes! I agree, PJ. Most of my fave eps stem from the stellar second season. Can't WAIT to see the Christmas ep again -- it's been too long!
With this set and the next Bewitched set announced for October....and another season (the 5th) of I Love Lucy in between, I'm happier than a pig in..........swill. Wink Rolling Eyes Cool

The Selling of Keith Partridge (where Danny sells Keith's stuff to buy a mink coat for mom's B-day!)

There are many episodes that I haven't seen in years and maybe even a few I haven't seen since their original airing but a few of my faves are:

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Partridge - Don't you just want to give Keith a hug when he is sitting in the garage looking so dejected?? And the "Summer Days" musical sequence is just so, so...happy!!

Soul Club - the block party, Bandala scene is great and of course the "afro thing" line is a classic.

Not With My Sister You Don't - Michael Onktean and David Cassidy together!! What more could a girl ask for??? Laughing And I love how David looks singing "I'll Meet You Halfway".

Swiss Family Partridge - I just think this is a real funny episode. I think my favorite PF line is from this episode when they all say that they will give their food to Chris and Tracy and they all look at Reuben to say that he will do the same and he says "well how important are they to group anyway?". Gets me everytime. Smile

Actually Cassidy Diva, I think you're slightly confused. The correct episode title you are thinking of is "I Can Get It for You Retail". "The Selling of the Partridge" is the episode where Keith runs for School President. I can see how you are mislead though! The former title is of course a play on words, particularly when you realise there was a stage show in the 1960s called "I Can Get it For You Wholesale" starring Barbra Streisand. Alot of the PF episodes have titles that have some sort of play on words or something to do with Hollywood, as we have discussed on this board before.

As an aside, the publicity material I have on the show from Columbia Pictures Television (formerly Screen Gems TV; now Sony Pictures Television International) indicates on the original press sheet that the Season One episode "Road Song" is clearly titled "One More For the Road" and in the context of the story, it is absolutely perfect when you consider the family picks up a runaway on their way to Albuquerque.
Perhaps "Road Song" was a working title?
