Thanks, Laurie! Some of them look great! Though I have to be boring and ask what kind of camera you have!?
I've been thinking of getting a digital one for a while now though I'm not sure if to save up and get a digital SLR or just a snapper? Any ideas?

Hope you had a groovy time! What's with Scott and Madonna Lisa?I've sorta given up hating her myself cuz she's not in my face 24-7 like she once was.I never thought much of her music and I don't care for dancing.I mean,I like to dance but I don't care about dancing singers. We can blame McDonna (my pet name for her, billions served) for the plethora of Janet Jacksons,Brittany Spears,JLos etc.etc. And the fact that female singers more often than not don't sing live anymore.
I like bands myself, which is one reason I liked PF better than the Brady Kids.Maybe I'd have liked BK better if they'd pretended to play instruments.-DP

Teasing is always good.
When Madonna married Sean Penn they did it at my friend Eden's Dad's house in Malibu. She kept saying she had to go to "the Wedding" all week but never said who's.I'm not one to pry so I never asked "Who's Wedding?".Later she admited that she didn't tell me cuz she couldn't have stood the ribbing I'd have given her.
She was so right! Laughing

Hands up! I am a big madonna fan too! Cool

Sure Madge has been rather intimidating in the past, but compared to Mariah Carey later that evening she was fantastic!

I remember one of the BBC cameras came up to me when i was singing along to "like a prayer". Luckily the footage wasn't used in the live coverage, as i got embarrased and started to back away! Embarassed

And Lisa, Yep thats me alright! Looking as glamourous as ever Laughing

I borrowed the digital camera from my uncle Pete the day before, its a Canon. Can't quite remember what resolution it is. But it was an excellent camera, with X4 times zoom and very lightweight. I think it also comes with a USB port for easy transfer. I dont know much about digital cameras but i hope that helps! Smile

Laurie,
Thanks for posting the pictures. I really enjoyed "LIVE 8" and glad that the G8 have appropriated funds (50B?) to Africa's needs. Hopefully a good portion of that will be spread around the world also as we have too many people dying due to poverty and neglect as well.

Must have been very cool to see McCartney play "Helter Skelter" live! Great show Paul did - as well as so many others.

I really wanted to see a set done by all the teenybopper idols of our day:
Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, The Bay City Rollers, Donny Osmond and the reunited Monkees!

BTW Laurie, what is with the "Donny Sucks" on your avitar? C'mon give a little love to the man from Utah!

Thanks, Laurie, yes it does help a bit! I really must go digital! My old camera's an A1 so I may stick with Canon!

BTW - Though I enjoyed Pink Floyd the most, I have to say I thought Madonna was great too on Live 8. I saw her about 20 zillion years ago and much prefer her earlier music. It's a shame Yog had a cold as I think he was going to do a number on his own which I'd have liked!

BTW, I've got a Canon PowerShot (3.2 mega pixels).
They're like computers. Keep making them better all the time.

Oh my! My new icon is certanly causing controversy! LOL!

Dont worry, I love Donny really. He is too cute to hate! Just one look at that smile and those eyes... ahh!

But David will always hold a special place in my heart! Mr. Green

I am glad you guys enjoyed the pics, whats the use of taking pictures and not showing your friends? I was upset when i had to miss Paulie at the end. I had to catch the midnight train, so i missed the finale Crying or Very sad

I missed "Hey Jude". Every show Macca ends with that, and i missed it. Why? Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

All i can do now is wait for the DVD. Smile
