Glad to have an episode to watch today.

Nancy Walker is always funny. Actually, I felt that she was restrained in this episode. Love Shirley getting advice from Laurie.

Also, nice to see Chris and Tracy have some good lines this time.

a fun episode to watch. For one, I can understand why Doctor Appelbaum falls for Shirley. She is soooooooooo beautiful ! Embarassed
And I love those Partridges singing "One day at a time", one of the best Crossword puzzle's songs. This song should have been on the Greatest hits album. Susan seems to enjoy herself. Watch her sing !
merci !

Here is my attempt at the most useless observation ever:

When Shirley comes in from her date and the kids give her the newspaper, there is a fly that comes in from the upper right of the screen, does a little circle in front of her forehead then exits to the right of the screen. Sorry for the chatter, but its those little things that I notice. I'm wierd that way

On a possibly less trivial note, I think it is a little odd sometimes in the guess characters they selected. Gerald Hiken is around 45 when this episode was made, and his TV mother, Nancy Walker, was around 50. I guess the scene works, but it seems like they would select someone who was at least 20 years older for the part of Mrs. Applebaum.
