I remember GP for some reason. Confused I think that was an actual rating -- the similar to what PG is now.

Yup -- I just found this MPAA Ratings history online:

I don't know if this one's already been mentioned (and I'm too lazy to check, Razz so if it HAS bare with me ) but why is it the girl, Maggie Newton, in Season 1's "Road Song" is obviously British when both her father and maternal grandfather are clearly American? Confused Laughing Wink

I recently watched the first episode of season 3 (This Male Chauvinist Piggy Went to Market) on DVD and noticed something near the end. Danny is heard to say "I'm going into the kitchen to read Snakeman." But if you watch his lips he seems to be saying, "Superman." Does anyone know if this edit was done for the original airing of that episode or was it done only for the DVD?

This was done on the original broadcast, I believe.
Maybe saying Snakeman was cheaper.
Possibly fixed after the scene was shot.
IMHO.

I'll have to double check this episode & get back to you.
Though my lip reading is not the greatest.

hey i just got Season 3 on DVD and noticed that, too! I think he said Spiderman. You'd think they would've thought of the cost of using that title when they were writing the script!

this one is probably written somewhere, but in "Each Dawn I Diet" when Danny and Reuben are arguing before bed, the clock in Danny's room says it's not even 5:15! Those Partridges go to sleep early!

The clock in Danny's room never seemed to work right.

OK, just went through my files and added all the bloopers/mistakes.
Also took out all the ones that turned out to be false.

I just watched "Whatever Happened to the Old Songs?" and am baffled by the line about Grandpa buying tickets for the Titanic. It's 1970 and Shirley's parents are supposed to be married 44 years (since 1926). The Titanic went down in 1912 and, I'm assuming that they're both in their early 70s (a TV Guide listing once referred to Grandpa as a septuagenarian). Were they traveling together 14 years before they were married when they were pre-teens? Shocked
