This morning I escaped my little apartment - which desperately needs to be cleaned, and hustled into my office to help relieve some stress from my little job. I also attended to some bills that needed to be paid.

Then I got to thinking about what was really important...how would I do a better job of running David Cassidy's life? What could I do to help David get that role of a lifetime in a major motion picture? A better record deal? Negotiate a new contract for him to tour the whole country rather than these gigs here and there? How is it that I could change the setlists of his concerts to include the songs I want to hear? Should he change the color of his hair dye? How about some new hair? Should I go deep sea diving in search of the Cassdy family crest ring? You see where I'm going. There is something that makes me actually care that David is happy and well adjusted - as well adjusted as a former teen idol who posed half nude in Rollingstone can be.

Since I'm not alone in this, I think it would make a for a fun reality show if there was one in which a fan interracts with David Cassidy and acts as their LIFE ORGANIZER - they could call it "Run for your Life"!!

How would you run David Cassidy's life?

Ed, I know this is for fun, but all it would be is what WE want for his life-in terms of what makes US happy. But given your sense of humor, I bet that's your point.... Wink

Encourage him to write & perform his own material & convince him we don't want 1000 "new" versions of ITILY

Why would I want to run someone else's life? I don't get that. Confused

With all due respect to Ed's efforts, I still HAVE to say: Well said, ladies, and I couldn't agree more!

Not too sure 'bout running his life. But I can tell ya this....not to take anything away from Richard Gere who did a fabulous job....but I would have preferred to see David in the role of the lawyer in the film "Chicago" Or some meaty role in some gritty drama
A consistent recording career. Is it just me or has most of David's CD releases been on different labels? But this notwithstanding, hasn't been too bad for the guy.

Wow! I was just thinking that he should somehow get a stint playing Billy Flynn in "Chicago". Has he in fact done that? ("Chicago" has had such a rotating cast roster it is hard to keep up.)

I can also see him doing a run as the title character(s) in a national tour of "Jekyll and Hyde". He has the soft, crooner voice for Dr. Jekyll, and the rock sound needed for Mr. Hyde.

He says he was offered the role of Billy Flynn in London but declined.

He could do a guest shot as a wacky criminal on CSI: Miami. Every time David Caruso puts on his sunglasses, DC bursts into "Sunshine Eyes."
