Ever wonder why the PF themesong changed after the first season from "When We're Singing" to "C'mon Get Happy?" It was still the same melody but it was good that they changed it anyway. Similarly, they changed the Mary Tyler Moore theme after the first season too. Gone was "How will you make it on your own," to the more familiar "Who can turn the world on with her smile."

They changed it b/c the first season's lyrics established the premise of the show.

Did David Cassidy sing "When we're singin'"? I think he did right?

Yeah, and he also sang the theme for his other TV show on NBC called "Man Undercover" and "The John Larroquette Show".

He also composed and sang the theme for the Ask Harriet. I recorded. then watched this show just once. Maybe David should leave the television show creating and producing to his brother. The theme to A H is worth a listen though, I tranfered it to CD, and it also has a home in my IPOD.
Speaking of Shaun, it would be great if he created a show for his half brother or mother.

If he could get a series that lasts more than one season Rolling Eyes he could hire them-as he did with Shirley for Cover-me & David & Patrick for The Agency.

I always wondered why Shaun writes about supernatural stuff and aliens, when he has his own family. They have to be a treasure trove of stories!

Yeah! Amy, You are so right!! There's stories galore. Maybe Shaun is just more comfortable writing about the sci-fi stuff.

He tried to sell a series about a show-business Family, loosly based on the Cassidys, in the 90s, but it never sold. It was called FEAR OF FAMILY, & everyone but Patrick & Ann were to be in it (Ann suggested Susan Diol to play Shaun's wife--he took her seriously Laughing )
I"d love to get ahold of the script or a pilot tape!
