I am surprised no one on this site has heard about this already. My wife and I saw the (new) movie "Must Love Dogs" starring Diane Lane, John
Cusack and Christopher Plummer this past Saturday (8/21). It's a cute
romantic comedy, but in one scene, (much to my surprise) it's all about
David Cassidy and the Partridge Family! They all start singing "C'mon get
happy" and everything! It's also ironic since Christopher Plummer played
"Baron Von Trapp" in the movie "The Sound of Music," and the PF was
"loosely" referred to as a "updated, groovy Von Trapp family." Anyway, it
was a nice scene in a nice movie....check it out. -Ralphie

Yeah I saw this movie to and was surprised to see all of them singing that C'mon Get Happy song in the film and talking about David Cassidy. I really like that part a lot. I didn't really care about the movie that much. But that part was cute.

Peace,
Little Laurie

Looks like a nice, romantic comedy. I'll have to check it out when it comes to video.

the GF and I saw this film last night. Cute movie (but most certainly a video rental). The "C'mon Get Happy" scene is a hoot! Christopher Plummer's character trying to remember the name of the show is hilarious Laughing !

Hey guys.....BTW the group scene where they sing "C'mon Get Happy" is also included on the soundtrack to the film. It is the last cut on the CD. If you take the CD to a listening station at your local music retailer, you can hear the tune. They must have had agreat time with the song to include it in the soundtrack. Next time I hit the music store, I will see who produced the CD to see if there is a PF connection.

It will be a pleasant 'Movie Rental Night' film. I have always enjoyed John Cusack.
And Diane Lane......ForgetAboutIt! What a babe! I still remember her from "Streets Of Fire" even thought it wasn't really her singing in that film, she still blew me away. So when "MLD" comes out on DVD, I will be renting it. But before that one, this week is "Mr & Mrs Smith" with Mr & (most likely future) Mrs Brad Pitt. The previews on TV have got me on the edge of my seat to see it! Can't wait!
