Interesting... it's been 2 weeks now since Ricky's last appearance and we see 2 new young singers. At least they are a bit older and you can see that they were aimed at the PF market.

(Actually, I remember them gracing the covers of Tiger Beat).

I wonder if we would have seen them again if a 5th season had been made.
Of course, if Disney channel existed in the 70's I think these two would have been cast as Zach and Cody. Very Happy

I am noticing that even though the show in general moved away from the show business story lines after the 1st season, it seems like there was a small shift back in this season, at least from the perspective of the Reuben Kincaid character. Here he is promoting a new act and earlier this season we saw his nephew become an act (stand up comic), and Ricky did perform one song on stage in his intro episode, though that apparently did not continue.

The song "What's Your Name" (remake of Don & Juan 1962 song) went to # 92 (Billboard Hot 100) for 4 weeks on the chart back in June 22, 1974 on Barnaby Records. Their comeback song "Can't Cry Hard Enough" went to # 42 (Hot 100) & spent 18 weeks on Hot 100 back on February 8, 1992 & it also went to # 11 (Billboard's Adult Contemporary Chart) & spent 21 weeks back on March 7, 1992 on Warner Bros. Records.

"Two For The Show" also turned out the very last Partridge Family episode telecast as a rerun on ABC, Saturday August 31, 1974.

Is it me, or is the acting performance of the Williams brothers in this episode one of the worst in sitcom history?
