I know some people are interested in film date order as opposed to air date order. If you look at the Call Sheets for this episode and the previous episode (linked above on each one), you'll see that they were filmed a month apart, and in opposite order from how they were aired. This episode was filmed during the week of July 4, yet didn't even air until November! :D

I have some fun behind-the-scenes photos of Dave and David getting hosed down with water before filming the scenes where they return to the cabin from the rainy outside. I'll hunt them down and post a few here.

It's hard to believe that a group with small children who were on the road as much as the PF did not have more games with them. Especially since this was before electronics. We always had road games with us on family vacations and I even picked up some in 2004 when we were riding to Florida with a family.

Fun episode with funny scenes. Love the hooking up the amps to the bus idea Very Happy

Actually, I think they had a lot of board games. Chris and Tracy were always upstairs in their rooms or maybe in the basement playing these board games. That is why they weren't seen as much. Laughing

Yes, but not many games with them on the road. Smile

I remember a first season episode where they were calling out license plates? Or something to that effect? It was during one of Shirley's voice-overs, I think.

Can you imagine if they made the show today? They'd have the portable DVD players that swing down from the roof. Laughing

1st season, they were in a small hotel room & had to make a maze from all the toys & games (among suitcases) that they brought.

Remember the toy lawn mower that Tracy played with in the hotel room? Mowing the shag? Laughing
