As a child I always believed that TPF was a "proper" family. I can remember wishing that Shirley was my mum. Now I think thats what the charm is about TPF. The fact that they were portrayed as a real family, and to some extent acted like one. For example the problems at school and Danny getting into trouble
I can also remember reading somewhere that Mr Osmond was very strict with the children and could be quite harsh at times. |

In the old days, some parents actually did this. As with so many other things, times have changed and it's now required a parent or guardian be on the set at all times. |
