Help me, my techie friends! I've been trying to post a photo of a Partridge cake I made for my old friends last week, but I'm not sure where (or how, for that matter) to copy/paste the link. I do think it's about time I learned, though. Can someone give me a quick lesson?

Thanks, CHEZ. I considered that, but it's not a very well-centered shot, so I don't think it would fit in the avatar window properly. I'm sure there's a way to do it; Scott once said I could email pictures to him and he said he could post it, if all else fails.

If this works, I think I would be able to post some other pictures I've had for a while from my "PF room". At least, there's a "chest of drawers" (some people say "bureau") from my childhood that has a cool PF theme that I would love for you all to see. I came across it in my childhood home after my mom died and I ended up building that PF room around it.

I'm such a geek!

You can email them to me and I can upload them to the site, and link to it so it shows up in your post.

Other than that, you need to upload it to a server on your end, and link to it within your post. Most internet carriers give you a certain amount of web space for free. But, you will need a program on your computer that uploads it to your web space. Lots of people use a program called "Fetch" but there are others too.

Here's Gord's PF cake! I'll have a corner piece, please -- I LOVE frosting.

I'll coordinate his PF collection and add it to the Garage Sale section for now, till I have a chance to create an area in the Collectors Corner. Jim in Australia sent me some pics of his collection many months ago, too. :D

Thanks, CHEZ, Daydreamer...and especially Scott!!! It was a big hit with the gang! As you can see, I got all the candy I could find from our childhood (the Pink Elephant Popcorn, the Fun-Dip Lik'n'Stix). We've been working it off ever since.

When we were kids all we ever seemed to do was phone each other and say, "Wanna go to the store?" and we'd go down to the corner store and buy penny candy (that the old ogre of a store owner would put into small brown paper bags with his bare hands ... how unsanitary!!! Wink. So that night with my friends a few weeks ago was a real trip down memory lane.

Are these newer pictures of more of Jim's awesome collection?
I'd love to see a video tour of Jim's collection.
A friend of mine did this for me of their PF collection.
Not as cool as Jim's but still great to have on video.
It's on one of my VHS tapes somewhere.

They are newer photos, perhaps with different collectibles. I have not compared the two.

Surprised Surprised Surprised Surprised Surprised My own collection is growing, but is surely nowhere near as impressive Embarassed as Jim's, or Scott's, I'm sure. In any case, I look forward to seeing anything anyone here is willing/able to share as I JUST LOOOOOVE THIS STUFF!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Best to all,
Sabrina Wink
