wow! what an great read.... Thanks Scott for that interview and thanks to Dave Madden for sharing his stories. Not knowing much about his public life it was nice to learn a few things about this man.

Nice interview. Interesting about Danny. I wonder if they communicate much anymore. Or if he's ever asked Danny why he made that stuff up. I liked hearing about the show from his perspective. |

Hey Marjorie,
I know what you mean about busy. Anyhoot, Scott it almost seemed like you had no script , but just knew the right questions to ask. Sort of like following his lead. You obviously had an idea what you were going to do, but I must give kudos to the way you kept track and kept up with the interview when he went off to a memory. I loved those parts. Did you have what you wanted to ask memorized from years of wanting this interview? Or did you just shoot from the hip? Jay Leno and David Letterman look out! |

Awww, thanks! No, I always do a lot of research and have a list of questions that I need to ask, and then let the participant go off on whatever tangents they want. That way it feels natural and not forced. Dave was a fun and easy interview. |
