|
|
I came across a youtube clip of the Partridge Family bus (the one listed in the FAQ on Route 23 in Ashville, NY)
Here's a minute long clip of the bus and the people who happened upon it.
Anyone have any more info on this bus yet??

In the deep, buried, hidden recesses of my PF obsessive mind, I'd love to recreate the bus. But I'd only do it if I could find the right year/make/model bus, and paint it the right colors with the right shapes. Otherwise, what's the point?? |

I had an idea for a fictional story about how a board member actually found the original bus and restored it to it's former glory.
Maybe one day I'll get around to writing it.
Gotta do a 1st draft.

I quite agree, Scott, one hundred percent! But I still had a BALL on the replica in 2002 going to and from NYC's Good Morning America! |

Hey, Scott:
ANY chance of this actually HAPPENING (I hope, I hope) any time in future? Truth be told, I've been having fevered fantasies of late of your giving tours of the The Columbia Ranch from behind the wheel of this restored bus! -- Oh, c'mon, stop laughing at me, I'm bein' SERIOUS! I mean, this IS the Year Of The Partridge, is it not, so ANYTHING is possible! _________________ I wouldn't have missed it for the world. |

In the late 90's there was a PF fan in Maryland who bought an old school bus of the same year as PF one and he was going to have it painted professionally to the specifics of the PF bus and rent it as a party bus around Baltimore with him driving. He would also give some trivia about the PF as one of the games. Last I heard he had found someone to paint it, but never heard if the party bus business went through. |
