Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had any numbers, as far sales go for The Partridge Family Season one on DVD. I noticed on amazon.com that is was at #167. My hopes are for sales to be great enought to warrant the second, third, and fourth season to be released.

Nielsen's Videoscan tracks TV-to-DVD sales. The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times, and I think the L.A. Times report topline data. But if PF doesn't rank high, it won't show up on the chart. Here is a link to the Hollywood Reporter's top 20 DVD chart: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/charts/home_video/dvds.jsp

There might be a source out there that lists the entire chart (illegally, no doubt)...you might have to do some scouting around.

I checked the Billboard album charts to see if the CD was included in the top 200 for the week it was released. It wasn't. Albums generally only have to sell a couple thousand copies to land near the bottom of that chart.[/url]

I was in Tower Records last week, and they have an end cap with the past week's top sellers. The PF was #3 behind National Treasure and Phantom of the Opera. Not sure if this loisting was just for this particular store or all Towers nation wide. But it was nice to see it there. Also, the same store was playing the episodes on the TV in their DVD section. I felt like Shirley when she told Gordon Jump, "They're playing our song!" Laughing Laughing
